According to reports, the by-poll elections vote counting in Uttar Pradesh will be held at Government Polytechnic College located in Bathua on Saturday (23 November). The police have scheduled traffic diversion to ensure security around the area. The restriction will commence from 0500 hours on Saturday (23 November) and will continue till vote counting is ended. The following routes have been impacted:

• No vehicle will be allowed to enter from Natwan Tiraha towards Bathua Tiraha. All vehicles will be allowed to enter Mirzapur city via Chimney and Shastri Bridge
• Vehicles going towards the city from Chilh Tiraha via Shastri Bridge, Natwan Tiraha, Bathua Tiraha will be diverted from Shastri Bridge via Jahnavi Tiraha, Imambara Tiraha. No vehicle will be allowed to enter Bathua Tiraha from Samogra Bypass. All vehicles will be diverted towards Lalganj and Barkachha.
• Vehicles going towards Polytechnic via Gandhighat culvert from any connecting road will be diverted towards Sabri Chauraha via Lohndi Mahavir Temple. Vehicles coming towards Sabri Chauraha from any connecting road will be diverted towards Sabri Chungi and Natwan Tiraha.
• Movement of vehicles will also be restricted from the connecting roads between Bathua Tiraha and Gandhi Ghat culvert. Vehicles going from any connecting road towards Bathua Tiraha via Itwa Tiraha will be diverted from Itwa Tiraha to the road to Itwa Village.
• Vehicles going from Lohndi Tiraha to Bathua via any connecting road will be diverted towards Sirsi Underpass. Vehicles going from Ramtek, Yadav Chauraha Barkacha to Prayagraj via Bathua Tiraha will be diverted via Lalganj to Prayagraj.
• Vehicles going towards Varanasi will be diverted via Chunar, Tengra turn. Vehicles going towards Prayagraj-Varanasi from Baraunda Kachhar Tirahe via Robertsganj Tirahe, Bathua Tirahe will be diverted via Sangamohhal, Imarti Chauraha, Imambara Tirahe. Vehicles going towards Lalangaj, Madihaan from this Tirahe will be diverted via Robertsganj Tirahe, Munhkochwa, Madihaan.
• Roadways buses coming from Prayagraj via Vindhyachal, Natwan Tiraha, Bathua Tiraha to Roadways Bus Stand will be allowed to go from Gaipura Chauraha via Lalganj, Barkachha, Robertsganj Tiraha to Roadways Stand.
• Roadways buses coming from Varanasi which come to Roadways Bus Stand via Shastri Bridge, Natwa Tiraha, Bathua Tiraha, they will be diverted via Pakkapul Chunar, Barkachha, Robertsganj Tiraha to Roadways Bus Stand Mirzapur and Shastri Bridge, Natwan Tiraha, Gaipura Chauraha, Lalganj, Barkachha Robertsganj Tiraha to Roadways Bus Stand.
• Roadways and private buses going from Roadways Bus Stand Mirzapur towards Prayagraj will be diverted from Roadways via Robertsganj Tiraha, Barkachha, Lalganj, Vijaypur, Gaipura Chauraha to Prayagraj. Roadways and private buses going towards Varanasi from Roadways Bus Stand will be diverted towards Varanasi via Roadways Stand, Robertsganj Tiraha, Barkachha, Chunar Pakka Pul or from Roadways via Barkachha, Lalganj, Vijaypur, Gaipura to Natwan via Shastri Bridge to Varanasi.
