As per a notification issued by the Lucknow Traffic Police, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented in view of a Chehlum procession in the Hazratganj area from Shahnajaf Tiraha (Saharaganj Tiraha), Chiraiyajheel Tiraha, Hanumantdham, Clark Avadh Tiraha, Daliganj Tiraha, Shahmina via Karbala to Talkatora police station area, Talkatora, from 1100 hours on Monday (26 August) till the end of the procession.

• General traffic from the Sikandarbagh intersection to Saharaganj Tiraha will be rerouted, with vehicles able to reach their destination via the Hazratganj/Subhash intersection.
• General traffic will not be able to proceed from Clark Tiraha towards Chiraiyajheel Tiraha and will instead be rerouted to reach its destination via Subhash intersection.
• Normal traffic will not be able to proceed from KD Singh Tiraha towards Motimahal Tiraha and will instead be rerouted to reach its destination via Hazratganj/Subhash intersection.
• Normal traffic will not be able to proceed from PNT Balu Adda Tiraha towards Chiraiyajheel Tiraha and will instead be rerouted to reach its destination via Dalibagh and Dainik Jagran intersection.
• Traffic of any kind will be prohibited on the route of the procession.
