Bengaluru City Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the 112th Rajatha Brahmarathotsava Festival of ‘Gottigere Shri Someshwara Swamy Temple’ on Thursday (27 February). Nearly 25,000-30,000 devotees are expected to visit the temple and the Rathotsava will be celebrated from 1100-1430 hours.

The Deepa Arati (prayer) and procession of 15-20 Pallakkis will take place from 2000 hours on Thursday (27 February) till 0330 hours on Friday (28 February). To regulate the traffic flow in and around the temple, traffic advisory has been issued –

• Traffic restrictions are from BDA Junction to Layola Junction on Bannerugatta Main Road and from Kammanahalli Junction to Kolifarm Gate Junction on Bannerugatta Main Road.
• Alternate routes:
• Vehicles from Bannerugatta rural will travel through Kolifarm Gate/Nice Road Junction towards Konnakunte Cross/Gottigere/Arakere/Bilekahalli/towards city through Bannerugatta Road.
• Take left turn at BDA Junction. Proceed via Anjanapura 80 feet road. Take right at first main road and proceed via Kembathahalli Main Road.
• Reach Jambusavari Dinne Circle and can go towards Konanakunte Cross. Continue via Jambusavari Dinner Circle, take left to Kothnuru road to reach Bannerugatta Main Road. Those heading towards Arakere/Bilekahalli/towards City can go via Bannerugatta Main Road.
• Vehicles coming from Shahi Garment Junction/Meenakshi Mall Junction will go towards Gottigere/Bennerugatta rural via Bannerugatta main road:
• Take left turn near Kammanahalli Junction, proceed via Doddakammanahalli main road and Hommadevahalli road. Vehicles can reach Kolifarm Gate Junction and Bannerugatta main road for rural.
