As per reports, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued a traffic advisory near Mirpur in Dhaka, in observance of Martyred Intellectuals Day on Saturday (14 December), the ceremony will be attended by prominent officials including the President, Chief Advisor, Chief Justice, and Foreign Diplomats. Additionally, the traffic restrictions will be in place between 0400 hours and 0930 hours, following are the details:

• From Ashulia to Mirpur, drivers should divert via Nawaberbagh Crossing to Rayinkhola Crossing (Zoo Road) via Gudaraghat, instead of using Mirpur Mazar Road.
• Vehicles passing through the Shah Ali Mazar area via Mazar Road crossing should instead follow the Technical Intersection, Ansar Camp Bangla College, and Mirpur-01 route.
• From Mirpur-01 to Mirpur-10 and Gabtoli: Vehicles will be redirected to take a U-turn at Tanin Gap in Mirpur-01 and proceed towards Nawaberbagh Crossing or Diabari Crossing to continue to Gabtoli via Brothers Gap.
• From Gabtoli to Dhaka, vehicles from Gabtoli should take a left turn at Brothers Gap, heading towards Beribadh Diabari Crossing, and continue to Nawaberbagh Crossing to Gudaraghat and Rayinkhola Crossing.
• From Darus Salam Police Station to various destinations, vehicles should avoid Community Centre No. 10 and use Golartek, Palpara Ghat, Gabtoli to Beribadh road, then proceed to Diabari and Nawaberbagh Crossings.
