As per reports, the Indian Navy will be hosting its Half Marathon on Sunday (02 February), with around 15,000 participants expected to take part in the event. The half-marathon will kick off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at 0500 hours.
• Traffic restrictions and diversions along the marathon route will be in place from 0445 to 0900 hours. Emergency vehicles will, however, be allowed to pass through the affected areas without any disruption.
• Diversions will be implemented at key points across the route, including:- 4th Avenue-Bhisham Pitamaha Marg Junction (Under Sewa Nagar Flyover)- Kotla Red Light- Sewa Nagar Red Light on 4th Avenue- Meharchand Market Red Light on 5th Avenue- 2nd Avenue- Aurobindo Marg-Lodhi Road Junction- Rajesh Pilot Marg-Amrita Shergill Marg Junction- Subramaniam Bharti Marg-Max Mueller Marg Junction- Mathura Road-Bhairon Road Junction- Neela Gumbad
• Several intersections are expected to be affected, including:- Janpath-Maulana Azad Road Junction- Sansad Marg-Outer Circle Junction- Tilak Marg-C Hexagon Junction- Shershah Road-Mathura Road Junction
• Commuters are advised to take the following alternate routes:- North-South Corridor: Ring Road, Ashram Chowk, Sarai Kale Khan, ISBT Kashmere Gate, Dhaula Kuan, Sardar Patel Marg, R/A Gol Dak Khana, and Minto Road.- East-West Corridor: DND Flyover, AIIMS Chowk, Brar Square, Naraina Flyover, Vikas Marg, and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg.
