As per reports, Congress leaders and workers staged a sit-in protest in front of the South Central Railway (SCR) headquarters at Secunderabad Railway Station in Hyderabad on Wednesday (28 October) over the denial of their request for special trains for the upcoming Delhi protest on Sunday (01 November).
The protest was attended by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Mahesh Kumar Goud, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, legislators Naveen Yadav and Sri Ganesh, and other Congress leaders. The police detained the Congress leaders. The SCR clarified that it could not provide special trains for Congress leaders due to operational constraints.
