As per reports, the following traffic advisory has been issued in Bengaluru for the Sri Renuka Yallamma Devi Karaga ‘Mahostav’ (mega festival) from 1700 hours of Tuesday (12 March) to 1500 hours of Wednesday (13 March):

• Approximately ten thousand persons, including political leaders and prominent persons are scheduled to participate in festive processions.
• The Floral Palanquin ‘Utsav’ (festival) procession will proceed from Hongasandra Anjaneya Temple to Adarsha School, for the duration of which traffic going towards Beguru via Hongasandra Main Road will be blocked at Kodichikkanahalli Junction, and diverted towards D Mart on Devarachikkanahalli Main Road.
• Vehicular traffic coming towards Kodichikkanahalli Junction on the Beguru Main road will be blocked at the PK Kalyana Manthapa Cross Road near the Hulimavu Traffic Police Station, and diverted via inner lanes and connecting roads of Beguru.
• The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has also suggested the following alternative route: commuters coming towards Begur via Bommanahalli Junction on Hosur Main Road can travel directly to Kudlugate, and take a right turn to reach Begur Main Road.
