Temporary disruptions announced in metro and tram services in Prague on Saturday (31 May) and Sunday (01 June)

As per reports, planned maintenance and infrastructure works will impact Prague’s public transport system during the weekend on Saturday (31 May) and Sunday (01 June).

• Tram services near the Malostranská stop on Klárov Street will be suspended from 0000 hours local time on Friday (30 May) to 0000 hours local time on Sunday (01 May), affecting tram lines 2, 12, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 23, 42, 97, and bus line 194. Passengers can use temporary stops at Edvarda Beneš Embankment and Letenská Street, as no replacement tram service will be available.
• On Sunday (01 June), Metro line C will be closed between Hlavní nádraží and Vltavská due to ceiling slab reconstruction at Florenc station, with replacement tram line XC running between Hlavní nádraží and Špejchar. Additionally, tram line 36 will operate between Zvonařka and Vozovna Kobylisy, and tram line 23 will be rerouted from Bruselská via Nuselské schody to Náměstí Bratří Synků, where boarding will take place at the turnaround stop.
