Variable weather conditions forecast in parts of Czech Republic from Monday (18 May)

As per reports, On Monday (18 May), higher cloud cover and fading rainfall are expected mainly across eastern parts of the country, including Ostrava, Zlín, Olomouc, and Moravian Silesian regions. Isolated rainfall may develop in western regions during evening hours.

• Daytime temperatures on Monday (18 May) are forecast to range between approximately 16 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius across lowland areas, including Prague, Brno, Plzeň, and Liberec. Mountain regions above 1000 metres elevation, including parts of the Krkonoše and Jeseníky mountains, are expected to record temperatures between approximately seven degrees Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius.
• On Tuesday (19 May), cloudy to partly cloudy conditions with widespread rainfall are forecast across much of the Czech Republic, including Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, Plzeň, Liberec, and Hradec Králové. Isolated thunderstorms are also expected during daytime and afternoon hours.
• Weather forecasts indicate that rainfall totals on Tuesday (19 May) could reach approximately 15 millimetres across several regions of the Czech Republic, including Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, Plzeň, Liberec, Hradec Králové, and České Budějovice, while isolated thunderstorms may locally produce up to 25 millimetres of rainfall accumulation, particularly in western and central regions.
• Overnight temperatures between Monday (18 May) night and Tuesday (19 May) morning are expected to range from approximately five degrees Celsius to nine degrees Celsius across most regions of the Czech Republic, including Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň, Olomouc, Liberec, Hradec Králové, and České Budějovice.
• In areas experiencing lighter cloud cover, temperatures may locally decrease to approximately two degrees Celsius in inland and rural locations, including Vysočina Region, South Bohemia, South Moravia, and areas near the Krkonoše and Jeseníky mountains, where isolated ground frost is possible.
• On Wednesday (20 May), weather conditions are forecast to remain variable across Prague, Brno, Plzeň, Olomouc, Hradec Králové, České Budějovice, and central regions of the Czech Republic, with morning fog possible in inland areas before cloud cover increases from western regions, including Karlovy Vary and Plzeň Region. Rainfall and isolated thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Liberec, and surrounding regions before gradually weakening during evening hours.
• From Thursday (21 May) through Sunday (24 May), partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with occasional rainfall and isolated thunderstorms are expected across the Czech Republic, including Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Liberec, Olomouc, Plzeň, Hradec Králové, České Budějovice, Zlín, and South Moravia, including Brno and Břeclav. Temperatures are forecast to remain relatively mild, reaching approximately 18 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius, with the warmest conditions expected in South Moravia.
