As per reports, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has scheduled two temporary closures on Interstate 10 (I-10) in Jefferson County to facilitate the placement of concrete beams over the highway on Saturday (09 August) and Sunday (10 August).

• The westbound lanes of I-10 at Boyt Road will be closed on Saturday (09 August) from 1000 hours (local time) to 1800 hours (local time) and on Sunday (10 August) from 1200 hours (local time) to 1900 hours (local time).
• During the westbound closure, traffic will be diverted from I-10 at Farm Road 364/Major Drive to Texas Highway 124, with re-entry at Farm Road 365. Eastbound traffic will exit at Farm Road 365, follow Texas Highway 124, and re-enter I-10 at Farm Road 364/Major Drive.
