As per reports, Above Bar Street in Southampton, a key route connected to the high street, will be closed between Civic Centre Road and Commercial Road from 2000 hours (local time) on Thursday (13 March) to 0600 hours (local time) on Friday (14 March) for utility cover replacements.
• A traffic diversion route will be in place, and ‘no-waiting’ cones will be used to reserve work areas. Vehicles parked within coned areas may be removed if they obstruct access.
• Southampton City Council has assured that refuse collections will continue during the works, though nearby residents may experience disturbances from flashing lights and reversing sirens.
