According to reports, the local authorities in Sydney have closed the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Monday (21 April) due to ongoing police operations in the area. The cause of the operations is yet to be declared.
• Authorities have temporarily shut down multiple traffic lanes, prompting commuters to avoid the bridge and opt for alternate routes.
• As per the updates available, Northbound lanes are severely congested, buses and public transport are experiencing delays while alternate routes like the Anzac Bridge and Sydney Harbour Tunnel are facing increased traffic load.
• Train services on the T1 North Shore Line between Wynyard and North Sydney were brought to a halt due to the incident. Significant disruptions occurred to other rail lines, including the T1 Western Line, T9 Northern Line, T2 Leppington & Inner West Line, T3 Liverpool & Inner West Line, T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line, T6 Lidcombe & Bankstown Line, and the T8 Airport & South Line.
