As per reports, the Sociedad Anónima del Estado de Transporte Automotor (SAETA) has announced the suspension of all night bus services across the metropolitan area of Salta beginning at 0000 hours local time ( hours UTC) on Monday (01 June).

• Under the measure, no public buses are scheduled to operate between 2330 hours local time (0230 hours UTC) and 0530 hours local time (0830 hours UTC) each night.
• Intercity bus routes serving the metropolitan region are not scheduled to enter central Salta City after 2200 hours local time (0100 hours UTC), and urban bus routes are scheduled to stop entering the city center after 2230 hours local time (0130 hours UTC).
• The suspension is linked to ongoing transportation sector disputes and financial challenges affecting service operators.
• The cities which are expected to be affected by bus service suspension are Salta City, San Lorenzo, Vaqueros, Cerrillos, Rosario de Lerma, Campo Quijano and La Merced.
• The bus services are expected to be suspended in Salta province until further notice.
