As per reports, the Met Office forecasts colder conditions from Monday (23 February) to Sunday (03 March). A change in weather patterns is expected following a weekend of heavy rainfall, causing rivers to overflow.
• There is an increasing likelihood of snowfall, primarily in northern areas of the UK. Meteorologists suggest that the snowfall is likely to be confined to elevated terrain.
• On Friday (23 February) the forecast indicates rainfall conditions nationwide accompanied by windy weather.
• The overall weather pattern until early March is predicted to be unsettled, bringing intermittent spells of rainfall across the country.
• The wettest conditions are expected in the west and northwest, with occasional periods of windy weather.
