As per reports, the Thai Second Army Area has reported increased Cambodian military activity along the Thai-Cambodian border as of early Monday (08 December).
• On Monday (08 December), at 0000 hours local time, RM-70 multiple-barrel rocket systems have been detected moving into Chom Krasant District, Preah Vihear Province, with further evacuations near Chong Bok and Chong An Ma.
• At 0100 hours, BM-21 and Type-90B rocket systems have been detected mobilising into Krung Samrong from areas near Chong Chom and Chong Samet.
• At 0325 hours, Cambodian soldiers have been observed directing support-weapon targeting toward Ban Kachainoi in Ban Dan District and Ban Charuk Khaewae in Prasat District.
• Continued cross-border military tension is likely as both sides increase surveillance and border readiness.
