As per reports, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the Lake Catherine area on Wednesday (18 June) evening.

• The incident was reported around 1730 hours (local time) in the 21000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
• Officers discovered a woman at the scene who had sustained multiple stab wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities.
• The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
