As per reports, a shooting incident was reported near Dunkirk on Saturday (14 December), which left five people dead, including two migrants and two security guards.
• The suspect was a 22-year-old man who surrendered to police at a station in Ghyvelde and confessed to the killings.
• The violence began in Wormhout, continued near migrant camp in Loon-Plage.
• Dunkirk’s Mayor Patrice Vergriete stated that the motive behind the attacks remains unknown.
• Several firearms were found in the suspect’s car.
