As per reports, a fire incident occurred at approximately 2115 hours local time on Tuesday (18 February) in a building on the small rue de Faya, in the city center of Annonay.

• The fire, which originated in the garage, quickly spread to the rest of the building, completely destroying the floors and roof. Approximately 50 firefighters and police officers were deployed to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
• Two individuals sustained minor injuries due to smoke inhalation, and four residents were relocated. Around 20 firefighters remain on-site for continued surveillance.
