As per reports, a shooting incident occurred in front of the Anderlecht town hall early Monday (17 March) evening, leaving one person injured.
• Additionally, another individual sustained stab wounds on Rue du Chapeau around the same time. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the two incidents are related.
• Emergency responders and law enforcement arrived promptly. A helicopter was deployed to monitor the area, and a brief crowd movement in Council Square was swiftly contained.
• The Brussels fire department and municipal authorities continue to assess the situation. The condition of the victims remains unclear, and no arrests have been made as of yet.
