As per reports, five homicide incidents were recorded in Birmingham, Alabama within 24- hours as of Sunday (17 March).

• Two men were shot fatally in the 3400 Block of Boise Avenue around 0600 hours local time.
• Another fatal incident was recorded at 6233 Blocton Avenue near Bessemer, Brighton, Midfield and Lipscomb at around 1000 hours local time.
• Two shooting incidents were also recorded on Saturday (16 March) afternoon and night.
• No arrests have been made in the latest Birmingham homicide.
