As per reports, a seven-tier security has been put in place at the Chennai airport for the Republic Day celebrations. More than 1,000 personnel of the Tamil Nadu Police Commando Force, National Security Guard (NSG), Air Security Force (PCAS), intelligence officials and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have been deployed at the airport.
