As per reports, on Thursday (31 October), in anticipation of Diwali celebrations, the Bhopal police have intensified security by deploying 2,400 additional police officers in Bhopal, including 800 female officers in plain clothes, stationed at key public areas including markets, major road junctions, and areas sensitive to communal disturbance in Bhopal.

Fire brigades are also strategically placed near temporary firecracker stalls in Bairagarh, Govindpura, New Market, and the 10 Number bus stop to manage potential fire incidents in Bhopal.
