As per reports, Section 144 has been imposed in Jaldhaka Upazila, Nilphamari, to be in effect from 0900 hours to 1800 hours on Tuesday (01 April), as a precautionary measure to prevent clashes between two BNP factions holding opposing programs at the same location.
The imposed restrictions include the prohibition of firearms, sticks, indigenous weapons, microphones or sound equipment, group gatherings of five or more people, and holding meetings or processions in the affected areas.
