As per reports, a notification issued by the Dhamrai Zonal Office of Dhaka Rural Electricity Association-03 on Wednesday (28 October) afternoon stated that power supply will be suspended for nine and a half hours in several areas of Dhamrai Upazila, Dhaka District on Thursday (29 October).
Following are the details:
• The power outage is scheduled to occur from 0800 hours (local time) to 1730 hours (local time) to facilitate urgent maintenance and upgradation work on power lines.
• The temporary power outage will affect various areas operating under the Badaria (Ekm) 33 kilovolt line and the Dhamrai substation.
• Affected areas include Chot Chandrail, Baro Chandrail, Khatra, Chhaybaria, Barigaon, Bashail, Kulla, Jalsin, Taltala, Islampur, Kumrail, Hospital Road, Notun Dakshinpara, Thana Complex, Upazila Health Complex, Amin Model Town, Baratnagar, Barat Center, Dhansiri Residential Area, and Dhulivita.
