As per reports, power outages are scheduled for various locations across the province of Manabí on Tuesday (15 October) due to increased flow at the Coca Codo Sinclair hydroelectric plant, as announced by CENACE (National Electricity Operator).
• These outages will impact residential, commercial, and industrial areas in cities like Portoviejo, Manta, Montecristi, Jaramijó, and other cantons.
• In Portoviejo, outages will occur from 0200 hours (local time) to 0500 hours local time), 1100 hours (local time) to 1400 hours (local time), and 1800 hours (local time) to 2200 hours (local time). Areas affected include the industrial sector, Vicente Macías street, downtown Portoviejo, Concorde, Paseo Shopping, and others.
• In Manta, outages are planned from 1200 hours (local time) to 1600 hours (local time) and 2000 hours (local time) to 0000 hours (local time). This affects neighborhoods like Los Gavilanes, hotel areas, rural areas, and the banking district.
• In Montecristi, power cuts will occur between 0000 hours (local time) and 0200 hours (local time), 0800 hours (local time) to 1200 hours (local time), and 1600 hours (local time) to 2000 hours (local time), impacting Montecristi Center, Jaramijó Naval Base, and other locations.
• In Jaramijó, the entire canton will experience outages from 0500 hours (local time) to 0800 hours (local time), 1200 hours (local time) to 1600 hours (local time), and 2000 hours (local time) to 2300 hours (local time).
• In Sucre, Charapotó Parish and other areas will have power cuts from 0200 hours (local time) to 0500 hours (local time), 1100 hours (local time) to 1400 hours (local time), and 1800 hours (local time) to 2200 hours (local time).
