According to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM), Bengaluru is expected to experience a scheduled power outage in several areas on Tuesday (24 December) from 1100 hours to 1700 hours due to maintenance work by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). Power will be restored once the work is completed.
• The maintenance work at the 66/11KV Batarayanapura Substation will reportedly cause power cuts in several areas under the C-8 Sub-Division of the Hebbal Division, including L&T Apartment, Yashodhanagar, Jakkuru Plantation, Century Apartment Batarayanapur, Sparkle One Mall, Amrithalli Sahakanagara G Block, Shabarinagar, Canara Bank Layout, Dhanalakshmi Layout, Tindlu Main Road, Sir MV Layout, Park, Tindlu Gram Badanga Saptagiri Layout, Dnaneshwari Layout, Gurudarshan Layout, Venkataswamappa Layout, Nanjappa Circle and nearby areas.
