As per reports, local authorities have issued provisions for traffic management and route diversions in parts of Lucknow starting from Tuesday (29 October) till Saturday (02 November) in view of Deepotsav. Routes that will be impacted during the traffic diversion are:

Haiderganj and Saadatganj will not be able to go towards Aminabad via Nadan Mahal Road from Nakhas Tiraha, Yahiaganj, Rakabganj Bridge. These vehicles will be able to go to their destination directly from Nakhas Tiraha (crossing) via Medical Cross, Medical College Square, Shahmina Tiraha (crossing).

• Vehicles going from Polytechnic Square towards Bhootnath Market will not be able to turn right from Bhootnath Tiraha (crossing). These vehicles will be able to go to their destination via Bhootnath Tiraha (crossing), then right from Lekhraj Market Square and then right from Nilgiri Square.
• Vehicles will not be able to go to Bhootnath Market by turning left from Garden Bakery junction from Kaleva square. These vehicles will be able to go to their destination by turning left from Nilgiri square in front of Garden Bakery and left from Lekhraj Market square.
• Vehicles will not be able to go towards Patrakarpuram from Captain Manoj Pandey square. These vehicles will rerouted to go to their destination via Dayal Paradise square via Husadiya square.
• Vehicles will not be able to go towards Patrakarpuram square from Husadiya square. These vehicles will be rerouted to go to their destination directly from Husadiya square via Dayal Paradise square.
• No vehicle will be able to go to the market till Neelkanth turn Aryan Restaurant. Similarly, no vehicle will be able to go towards Neelkanth from Aryan Restaurant.
• Vehicles coming from Charbagh will be able to go from Atal Chowk to the left towards Mayfair Crossing, and Alka Crossing, but no vehicle will stop between Atal Chowk and DM’s residence. This will be a no-stop zone.
• Vehicles will not be able to go from Leela Cinema Road to Bank of India Tiraha via left Alka Tiraha towards Hazratganj. These vehicles will be able to go to their destination from Bank of India Tiraha, right via Dunlop Tiraha towards Sahara Mall.
• Vehicles will be able to go to their destination from Sapru Marg, from Dunlop Tiraha to the left via Bank of India via Hazratganj and right via Sahara Mall via Shahnajaf Road.
• Vehicles from Sikandarbagh via Shahnajaf Road, from Saharaganj turn, left via Dunlop, Bank of India, Mayfair, Hazratganj, from Saharaganj turn straight via Chiraiyajheel will be able to reach their destination.
• Vehicles coming from Parivartan Chowk will be able to reach their destination via KD Singh Babu Stadium turn, Chiraiyajheel, Sikandarbagh.
• Vehicles coming from Parivartan Chowk for Hazratganj market will turn left from Hindi Sansthan and park in the underground parking of Sarojini Naidu Park.
• Vehicles coming from Lalbagh Chauraha (crossroad) and Mayfair Tiraha will be able to turn left from Lalbagh to Valmiki Tiraha (through Hazratganj police station) and go ahead of KD Singh Stadium.
• Metro rail service is available for Amausi Airport, Singar Nagar, Alambagh, Charbagh, Hazratganj, Mahanagar, Lekhraj, Bhootnath, Munshipulia Market, and radio taxis and public transport means are available for other places. If you have to stay in the market for more than an hour, then avoid using private vehicles. Vehicles to be parked away from markets to prevent congestion.
