As per reports, on Sunday (29 September), major roads in Nairobi will be closed from 2400 hours (local time) to 1300 hours (local time) to facilitate the Jubilee Insurance ‘Live Free’ race, which involves a 10 kilometer course.
• The race will impact several key roads, including Lang’ata Road, Bunyala Road, Haile Selassie Avenue up to NHIF, Uhuru Highway from Haile Selassie Avenue to Nyayo Stadium, Madaraka Roundabout, the Southern Bypass (Lang’ata entry from Ngong Road and from Mombasa Road), Nairobi West to Madaraka Roundabout, Masaba Road to Bunyala Road, and Donbosco Roundabout to Hill Park Hotel.
• Participants will complete four laps along the designated route, which takes them from Lang’ata Road through Nairobi West, passing Muhoho Avenue and Ngong Road before returning to Lang’ata Road.
