As per reports, South Pierce Avenue is scheduled to be closed to through traffic between Ninth Street Southwest and 15th Street Southwest in Mason City, Iowa, for approximately two weeks beginning on Monday (26 August).

This closure is necessary for the Canadian Pacific Railroad to replace a rail crossing and for a city-hired contractor to remove and replace approach pavement adjacent to the crossing.
