As per reports, a partial closure of the Irbid-Amman Road in Jerash is scheduled from 0000 hours local time until 0600 hours local time on Friday (05 September) to install a pedestrian bridge in the Al-Rashaydeh area near Jerash University.
The closure will be implemented in two phases with temporary traffic diversions:
• Closure of the road from Amman towards Irbid in front of the university, with traffic diverted to the opposite lane designated for traffic in both directions in Phase One.
• Reopening the road in the first direction, and closing the road from Irbid towards Amman, with the use of the opposite lane for traffic in both directions in Phase Two.
