As per reports, the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has announced that the 18th edition of the annual Amman Summer Festival is scheduled to kick off on Friday (10 July) and run through Friday (17 July).
• The eight-day cultural event is organized free of charge by the Greater Amman Municipality in cooperation with corporate sponsor Zain Jordan.
• All major festival activities and themed cultural evenings are scheduled to be hosted at Al Hussein Gardens in western Amman.
• Scheduled activities include live theatrical and musical performances, folkloric shows, heritage exhibits, handicraft displays, and a dedicated culinary zone showcasing popular local foods.
• A designated family area is scheduled to be integrated within the gardens to offer specific entertainment, dramatic performances, and cultural events tailored for children.
• Municipal authorities have arranged for free designated vehicle parking spaces in the squares surrounding Al Hussein Garden.
• The affected areas are strictly centered around Al Hussein Gardens (King Hussein Park) and its immediate perimeter, with primary adjacent corridors at risk, including King Abdullah II Street and the Medical City road network.
