The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has announced two road closures in the Waikato on Tuesday (14 October) due to adverse weather conditions.

• State Highway 31 (SH31) has been closed between Ngutunui Road and Okupata Road since approximately 0730 hours (local time) due to multiple slips in the area.
• In addition, State Highway 30 (SH30) has been closed between Kopaki Road and Ohirea Road since around 0815 hours (local time) due to flooding. A detour via Mangaokewa Road has been established, and authorities have advised drivers to allow extra travel time and exercise caution when passing through affected corridors.
