According to reports, a car crashed shortly before 0900 hours (local time) on Tuesday (23 June) on State Highway 02 between Featherston and Greytown, Wairarapa.
• The New Zealand Transport Agency has closed the affected section of the highway, and a reopening time has not been announced.
• Motorists are being diverted via Number One Line, State Highway 53 and Bidwells Cutting Road. Drivers have been advised to avoid the area where possible, as the local-road detour will add travel time.
