As per reports, Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) reached a critical construction milestone in the renewal of the railway bridge at Herrgottwiesgasse in Graz, successfully assembling and lifting heavy steel framework components into place, causing road closures until Sunday (23 August).

• The new bridge, consisting of components weighing approximately 27 tones each, has been lifted into position and is scheduled to enter operation on Monday (24 August).
• The construction program includes a complete road closure between Graz Hauptbahnhof and Gleisdorf, with the relevant works continuing through Sunday (23 August).
