As per India Cyber Threat Report 2024, India is facing unprecedented cyberattacks, with over 369 million threats detected in 2024 alone. Critical sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and BFSI are the most affected with government entities also facing persistent threats.
The geographical distribution of cyberattacks in India reveals that while major tech hubs like Telangana (15.03 percent) and Tamil Nadu (12 percent ) continue to face the majority of malicious activity, a rise in attacks is also emerging in Tier 2 cities.
