As per reports, the National Meteorological Centre (NMC) issued a forecast for continued rainfall in parts of China due to strong convection weather. Heavy rainfall is predicted in parts of central and northern Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang, northwestern Fujian, southeastern Sichuan Basin, southeastern Guizhou, central and northern Guangxi, and northern Guangdong until 0800 hours on Thursday (18 April).

Additionally, moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast in Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, South China, Sichuan Basin, and Guizhou from Thursday (18 April) to Saturday (20 April), while light to moderate rainfall is predicted in the eastern part of Northwest China, western North China, and Huanghuai.
