As per reports, localised rainfall with thunderstorms and possible gusts of wind is expected across parts of the Dominican Republic on Thursday (15 October) due to a weak trough, daytime heating and wind drift.
Reports indicate that San Pedro de Macorís, Greater Santo Domingo, Monte Plata, San Cristóbal, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, San Juan and Santiago Rodríguez may experience localised rainfall during the afternoon.
