As per reports, the Swedish public transport operator, Skånetrafiken, has announced that only one track will remain open for train traffic through the Öresund Bridge-Tunnel until 09 June. The limitation is due to urgent infrastructure work aimed at replacing 3,500 metres of rail along the tunnel section connecting Denmark and Sweden.
To mitigate disruption, replacement buses will operate during rush hours; however, delays remain likely. Passengers travelling between Malmö and Copenhagen, particularly those headed to Copenhagen Airport, may plan for extended journey times. While Skånetrafiken may offer compensation for train delays, it does not cover missed flights due to transport disruptions.
