As per reports, farmers, rice millers and arhtiyas (commission agents) have given a call for “chakka jam” (deliberately creating traffic blockade as a form of protest) in the state of Punjab on Sunday (13 October) from 1200 hours to 1500 hours.

The concerned parties will meet on Monday (14 October) and chalk out a future strategy for a larger protest, if required, along the lines of the farmers’ agitation of 2020-21.
