As per reports, members of the ETT Berozgar (unemployed) 2994 Backlog Adhyapak (teachers’) Union Punjab clashed with the police near the residence of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Mann on the Sangrur-Patiala main road on Sunday (15 September). The union initially staged a sit-in protest and blockade of the Sangrur Bus Stand. Subsequently, they attempted to march towards CM Mann’s residence, during which the clash ensued.
