As per reports, employees affiliated with several trade union bodies representing staff of the National Airports Office (ONDA) are scheduled to stage a protest outside the Ministry of Economic Integration, Small Enterprise, Employment and Competencies in Rabat on Friday (05 June).
• Reports indicate that the demonstration has been organized by airport technicians, executives, employees, and airport firefighters affiliated with the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT) in response to concerns regarding the implementation of previously signed labor agreements.
• Reportedly, union representatives have accused the National Airports Office administration of delaying the implementation of commitments contained within agreements signed with employee representatives, including an agreement concluded on 09 January 2023.
• Reports suggest that employee representatives have also expressed concerns regarding wage-related policies and alleged disparities in financial benefits provided to different employee groups.
• The trade union representatives have announced additional escalation measures amid ongoing disagreements concerning labor conditions, social dialogue, and institutional restructuring plans affecting the National Airports Office.
