As per reports, a protest was reported in a heavily trafficked region in district one of Bucharest on Wednesday (03 July).

• The protestors were aiming to highlight the widespread issues regarding the frequency of accidents and the perceived lack of effective measures to prevent them. Participants called for immediate actions to improve road safety infrastructure and stricter enforcement of traffic regulations.
• The incident underscored ongoing tensions between the community and local authorities regarding safety standards on city roads, emphasizing the urgent need for proactive measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
• The protest was organised near the pedestrian crossing in front of the block located on Sos. Gheorghe lonescu Siseti, Bucharest at around 1800 hours (local time).
