As per reports, hundreds of demonstrators attended a rally organized by the New York branch of the Hostage and Missing Families Forum, near 90th Street and Central Park West on Sunday (01 September) morning. The gathering was held in response to the recovery of the bodies of six hostages killed in Gaza.

Following the rally, a candlelight vigil will be held at 2000 hours (local time) on Sunday (01 September) near the golden statue in Columbus Circle.
