As per reports, truck and bus driver organizations protested against the hit-and-run law on Monday (01 January) morning in Indore. Barricades were in place at the Gangwal bus stand and all surrounding roads were closed amid an increase in police presence. The buses of school-going children and army officers were also struck on the Mhow route.
The administration and the government are in talks with the protestors to ensure that petrol and diesel do not run out at fuel stations.
