As per reports, on Wednesday (10 July), farmers of Kharkbhuura and Safa Khedi villages blocked the Kharkbhuura Chowk on the Delhi-Patiala National Highway and raised slogans against the administration over the irregular supply of electricity.

The protest resulted in extended traffic disruptions on both sides of the route.
