According to reports, the Bhadrak District Administration, on Friday (27 September), imposed prohibitory orders under Section-163 to ban public gatherings in Bhadrak, after communal clashes, that led to injuries to police personnel as well.

The Odisha government, on Saturday (28 September), has also suspended internet services in Bhadrak district for 48 hours in view of violent communal incidents.
