A “Day of Action” has been scheduled across England on Saturday and Sunday (13 and 14 April) to demonstrate and raise attention to the conflict in Gaza. Accordingly, pro-Palestine protests are organized as follows:
• Saturday (13 April):
Bedford: Leafleting outside Barclays, 1130 hours. Peace rally at Bedford’s ‘two faces’ 1200 hours.
Bristol: Rally at Elbit, meet at 1300 hours outside Elbit Systems UK, Horizon 2, Belvedere Close, Bolingbroke Way, BS34 6FE.
Carlisle: Protest at Barclays, 10 Bank Street, CA3 8EU, 1200-1300 hours; Vigil, Scotch Street, CA3 8QX, 1300-1400 hours.
Coventry: Car cavalcade meet up at 1230 hours in the Tesco car park by the CBS Arena.
Hastings: March on General Dynamics, Assemble at Clarence Rd entrance to Alexandra Park, TN37 6SD, 1200 hours. Rally at General Dynamics, 100 Castleham Road, TN31 9NJ, from 1330 hours.
Hitchin: Rally for Palestine, Windmill Hill, 1100 hours.
Kirkwall, Orkney: Weekly vigil, St. Magnus Cathedral, 1300-1400 hours. Knighton: War Memorial, Brookside Square, Broad Street, LD7 1DP, 1100-1200 hours.
Lancaster: Songs for Gaza, Market Square, 1300-1400 hours.

Newcastle: Stop Arming Israel Rally and March, assemble at Grey’s Monument, 12.45pm. March to Civic Centre beginning at 1315 hours.

Penzance: Information Stall, and Birds of Gaza workshop. Both to be held at The Peace Hope Party. Venue The Yacht Inn Penzance. 1400 hours till late.
