As per reports, a series of power outages were witnessed across parts of Philippines, including Iloilo City on Tuesday (02 January).

• The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) stated that at least 452 megawatts of capacity was shut off temporarily in the Visayas grid due to maintenance.
• The places affected included Panay Island, including the provinces of Iloilo, Antique, Capiz and Aklan, and Iloilo City.
