As per reports, the Vatican on Friday (12 April) announced that Pope Francis will travel to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and Singapore between 02-13 September 2024. Pope Francis will be Jakarta on 03-06 September, Port Moresby and Vanimo on 06-09 September, Dili on 09-11 September, and Singapore on 11-13 September.
Vietnam, which had been suggested by the Pope and Vatican officials as a possible destination during the Asia trip, was not mentioned.
