As per reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start his Lok Sabha election campaign in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday (31 March) with a rally in Meerut. The rally will be held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology.

The local administration has increased security measures ahead of the prime minister’s rally. Flying drones, kites, or balloons in an eight-km radius from the venue of the rally has been banned under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
